There is nothing more modern and innovative than the protection of the territory, enhancing and safeguarding the excellence of which the latter is endowed, as in the case of Ragusa. From this simple, but at the same time central, philosophy the idea of the festival was born. A different vision of life than in the past, that educates citizens in the so-called "good practices". Among these, the short food chain certainly stands out, the repair, the reuse of materials and recycling. Many other concepts make up the final goal "zero territory", and the "glue" of such ideas, projects and above all experiences, is definitely "sharing". Aspect that translates into the need to put in contact the "eco-sustainable" realities active in our territory, with the recipients of these initiatives, i.e. consumers. The demonstration, scheduled for the whole day, will involve, precisely, farmers and traders of products at zero km with relative tasting of the same, operators engaged in the field of renewable energy and sustainable mobility (Zero emissions), artists and artisans of recycling (for Zero Waste). Hybrid and electric vehicles will be available to users.
At the end of the second conference, a fashion show will be set up by Ricicreo Ferla and at the end of the evening a TALEH concert will be held.

The decalogue of the zero waste strategy

The decalogue of the zero waste strategy

Zero waste or Zero waste (in inglese Zero Waste) is a waste management strategy that aims to redesign the cyclical life of waste considered not as waste but resources to be reused as secondary raw materials, opposing practices that necessarily involve incineration or landfill processes, and tending to cancel or significantly decrease the quantity of waste to be disposed of. The process is based on the nature reuse model of resources.

Among his major theorists is prof. Paul Connett, emeritus professor of St. Lawrence University.
